Our expertise,
a french heritage since 1937
How far we have come since the creation in 1937 of Ets RAPPOPORT by S. RAPPOPORT and in 1979 the company AIRAP.
1937
Creation in 1937 of Ets RAPPOPORT by S. RAPPOPORT
1979
After the company launched a range of gauges, level controllers and a range of oil burners, soon followed by the first centrifugal turbines, hot gas extractors, centrifugal fans for combustion air and double-inlet fans for hot air generators, Christian RAPPOPORT took over the management of AIRAP, SMTI's managing tenant.
1987
The subsidiary AIRAMAT, formerly MAT, is created and will manufacture its axial fans at the NEUILLY SUR MARNE site.
1990
Prestigious orders are received: the Bibliothèque de France, the Stade de France, major orders for the SNCF and a campaign for the approval of smoke extraction fans is launched.
1997
The export structure is strengthened by the creation of distributors in Germany, Holland and Spain. The AIRAMAT subsidiary is dissolved. All departments, from the accounts department to the design office, including the sales department, are networked.
2003
AIRAP creates its first trilingual CD-ROM and extends its range with new specificities: ATEX, smoke extraction fans complying with new standards.
2005
AIRAP creates AIRCDV to take over the CDV company (Dieppe factory) in order to complete the range, in particular with the PALLAS, an approved centrifugal smoke extraction fan housing. The AIRCDV sales department is integrated into the Paris premises.
2009
AIRAP has invested in a laser table to improve product quality and reduce stocks, lead times and production costs.
2010
AIRAP is coping with the industrial crisis, softened by very good orders for nuclear power.
2016
Car park fans for the ARENA 92 multi-purpose hall.
2019
Merger of SMTI into AIRAP.
2024
New website.
